Program Overview:
Renewal Healthcare Network (RHN) is the health promotion and disease prevention program established to:
- Mobilize the local church and community
- Train and equip Community Health Workers, and
- Establish health facilities for the purpose of providing sustainable disease prevention, curative care and health promotion activities.
Following the establishment of Wentz Medical Center in 2005, RHN has successfully demonstrated Village owned community health in Gaba, and replicated the following components of this model in several other villages in Uganda;
Child health
Over 7000 ARM Sponsored Children receiving healthcare supported.
Community Clinics in undeserved remote villages;
- Bethany Community clinic, Kyagwe Mukono Opened 2008
- Mulete Community Health Center, Mubende, opened January 2011
Church to Church Healthcare Outreach
5 churches have implemented Community Health projects with malaria prevention. Over 14,000 homes reached with the Gospel of Christ & Nets. Church based village health outreach continues through trained teams.

Average over 3,000 free treatments annually,over 5000 treatments in 2011

Nutrition provided daily to Children’s programs
Community Health Education Program
Modeled after WMC Gaba Community Health Program, extending care to homesteads through trained Community Health Workers and village health sessions, celebrating 5 years of partnership.
