Wentz Medical Center is a non-profit mission hospital in Gaba, Kampala Uganda. We are licensed by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council for provision of medical services as a Level IV hospital.

 

History

Wentz Medical Center (WMC) traces its history to Gaba Community Church Clinic which run from 2002 to 2005, it’s out of this two-roomed rented structure that a nurse and laboratory technician provided medical services to the children, staff and the community of Gaba.
Through a collaborative effort between Africa Renewal Ministries, Samaritan’s Purse, Children’s Hunger Fund, and a generous gift from Dr. Myron Wentz, the current facility was created and opened on August 1st, 2005.
